Poughkeepsie, New York – In an announcement Wednesday, the Dutchess County Conservative Party endorsed Jim Coughlan for Dutchess County Comptroller.
“The Dutchess County Conservative Party fully endorses Jim Coughlan for re-election for Comptroller. Jim’s relentless protection of taxpayer dollars and independent review of every county expense has earned him another term,” said Dutchess Conservative Chair Maureen Natrella.
“I’m honored to receive the support of the Conservative party for the third time as their candidate for Dutchess County Comptroller. I work hard every day to ensure the fiscal health of the county remains strong. I’m grateful the Conservative party recognizes my dedication to the taxpayers and my commitment to public service,” said Coughlan.
Jim, 49, is a graduate of Providence College and Roger Williams Law School. He’s a multi-lingual attorney with over 15 years leadership and management experience in both private and public sectors. For 9 years he managed business units throughout Asia; and, for 5 years he practiced Finance and Patent Litigation in New York City. His specialty is Japanese and Chinese infringement.
