Jim Coughlan’s Month in Review

The month of May was a busy one on the campaign trail. This month I was privileged to participate in numerous events and ceremonies. Dutchess County Legislator Harold Ramsey and I kicked off the month with the “Will Truitt Will Do It Again” campaign fundraiser at Coppola’s in Hyde Park. Will is an excellent County Legislator and I was proud to come out in support his of re-election effort.

Later that in that week Miles of Hope held it’s 13th Annual Brunch, raising money and awareness for breast cancer. The event had amazing attendance and everyone came out for a great cause!

On May 10th, I attended the Town Of Wappinger Republican Committee’s Spring Celebration to Honor Helen Fuimarello at the Villa Borghese. Helen is an inspiring woman that has done so much for the Republican Party as well as our neighbors.

Another healthcare related organization I was please to come out in support of this month is MidHudson Regional Hospital, which held their “Dinner at the Falls” to honor Amy and Steve Effron, Zubair M. Khan, MD and Maqbool Murtuza, MD. The event brought togetherJim Coughlan with Linda Murrayfriends and colleagues to celebrate both the honorees as well as the vital services MidHudson Regional Hospital provides our community.

We had a great final weekend to May, marching in the Milan Memorial Parade to honor the memories of those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation’s freedoms. Despite a few showers, it was also a pleasure to also take part in the Rhinebeck Memorial Day Parade.

Don’t forget to come out on June 4th for the 2nd annual Weekend for Warriors event I will be hosting at Coppola’s in Hyde Park, raising money for local veterans.

Thank you for your support. I look forward to seeing you in June!
